CICO – PET Instructors’ Certification Program

An all-day certification course for clinicians wishing to gain the credentials required to teach techniques described in Dr Andy Heard’smanagement plan for the CICO event. The course comprises of in-depth training in teaching of PEO techniques for CICO management in the morning. In the afternoon, there will be lectures on the practicalities of setting up your own local course and a case review session. Formal assessment stations will also be included. The CICO-PET course gives participants the credentials to teach the techniques presented, in line with current ANZCA Continuous Professional Development (CPD) recommendations. Full accreditation requires successful completion of the CICO-PET course, which includes in-course and pre-course written & practical tests.
